During the annual Beginning Ceremony we have given a Grant to our best student for the last school year also considering her eight years full course.
As an extra one of our supporter has donate a special prize to the second classified for her constant effort. (reached)
BUTTERFLIES - JANUARY 2016
We have started classes for the Montessori children with a teacher and a help, for eleven students from four to six years old. We have had many requests of enrolment but we have chosen to limit the number of children to offer them a better service.
We offer them many activities from group games to drawing, from story reading to library service, from movies for children to a story, from the syllabus to write little and easy words, from fitness to simple yoga posture. Of course all in English. (reached)
NEW ROOMS FOR TEACHING - JANUARY 2016
We have rented a new room to start a new class and give our library its adeguate space.
We have also fitted the new room with benches, chairs, desk, shelves etc. (reached)
SCHOOL T-SHIRTS - JANUARY 2016
We have realised some beautiful T-shirts with our logo for our students who are using them as an uniform. (reached)
TEACHERS STAFF - AUGUST 2016
Last December we gave a Grant to our best student Dilmi and in August we have hired her as a part time teacher for the small children. The other part of the day she will study to become a professional teacher. (reached)
EX-ALUMNI - AUGUST 2016
Many of our students who have finished their course with us last December, are now working in down town hotels, others have got married, others are continuing their studies and among them there is a girl who has got a certificate for the English Language and the teacher who tested her asked: “Where have you learned such a good English?”. We are proud of it. (reached)
SUMMER CAMP - AUGUST 2016
For the second year we have offered children a SUMMER CAMP during which we have done enjoyable activities different from the one we offer during the school year. (reached)
BUILDING - SEPTEMBER 2016
We have applied approval for a building plan to realise a multifunction space where we will host English mother tongue teachers in the future.
Initially it will be rented to tourists in order to fundraise to have money for the school building.
It would have been finished by the end of the year. (under approval)
CALENDAR - DECEMBER 2016
We have realised a calendar for the coming year, it’s our first and in it we tell our story shortly. (reached)
